What is love to you?
When i'm out either in the city or small towns i can see couples walking together holding hands looking so blissful while on the other hand i see some couples quarrelling in the public having misunderstandings or problems with their relationships. Then a question came to me , what is love to you? There are different forms of love like love from parents, love from either your boyfriend/girlfriend or even love from your friends.
Let's talk about first part: Parental Love
What would you define love from your parents? Is it by giving you money or buying you more stuff? To me receiving parental love is to have a good relationship with your parents, like spending quality time together knowing each other better each day and improving the relationship. Many times we're so busy that we neglect our parents, times that they need us to care for them but we're not there for them, that is why no good relatonship bond is build there as communication is not involved. Many times to have a good relationship is for us to take a first step to communicate with our parents even it's meeting their needs. But most parents don't expect much , we need their love so do they. Most importantly have the agape love for your parents (:
Second part: Boy Girl Relationship
In this world nowadays you can see many people seeking love everyday, but to find themselves searching love in the wrong places getting themselves hurt in the end. Most people searching for the wrong love would most likely be teenagers, getting themselves attached at a young and tender age, going into different relationships again and again and to find themselves getting hurt each time as the relationship falls apart. To me there's a season for everything, we don't have to rush into a relationship or keep on searching for the right guy or girl. I believe God will always provide for us as He's Jehovah Jireh our Provider, but most importantly we must put HIM first (:
To me as a guy before i go into a relationship i must think of a few important points.
1. Financial - Financially i must be able to provide not just for my wife but the family too.
2. Spiritual - Spiritually i must be able to lead my wife so as to have a healthy christian lifestyle.
3. Security - In every girl, they would want to feel secure under the care and protection of their husbands.
Third part: Friends
How would you feel love from your friends? By just saying hi bye or having empty promises? I don't think so. A true friend will stand by you when you need help in your deepest point of your life. A true friend is surely trustworthy and dependable, by having a close friend you must be able to share through communication. What is communication ?
Communication is a process of sharing information with another person in such a way that he or she understands what your saying. Talking, listening and understanding are all involved in the process of communication.
Choose your friends wisely, a true friend will never backstab you but will help you to grow instead.
Always be an encourager and not a discourager (:
